Six days at the edge of the desert, where two ways of knowing a woman's life are woven together: the biographical work of anthroposophy — mapping your own seven-year chapters — and the ceremonial path of the Sacred Feminine, held through Temazcal, woman's circle, ritual and Rites of Passage.
Each morning you build your own Vital Map. Each afternoon, that map becomes ceremony. You're invited to bring someone who shares your history — so this becomes something you witness happening to someone you love, too.
Nestled at the foot of the Sierra de la Laguna, in El Chorro, Baja California Sur, El Santuario BCS is a place where desert and water meet in an extraordinary embrace — fresh mountain waters nourishing fruit trees and a rare, thriving ecosystem.
The mountains remind us of our strength. The river teaches us to surrender. The desert invites us into stillness. This is far more than a destination — a sanctuary where you can return to yourself.
You'll sleep in spacious canvas tents nestled beneath the mango trees. Days begin with meditation in the palapa; we gather in sacred circle within the Red Tent, a sanctuary dedicated to the sacred feminine. As the sun sets, we come together around the fire for storytelling and music.
There is generous time to simply be — walk barefoot, wander to the river, soak in the natural hot springs. Nature herself becomes part of the healing. She is one of our greatest teachers.
Prepared with love, beauty, and vibrant color, using organic and sustainably sourced ingredients whenever possible. Our cuisine draws on Ayurvedic principles, combining foods to support nourishment, balance, and vitality.
Vibrant, awakening breakfasts. Abundant, energizing lunches. Comforting vegetable soups, fresh salads, and herbal teas from the land as the day winds down.
You arrive, we eat together, and as evening falls we open the space: intentions spoken aloud, and your Vital Map placed in your hands, together with a story to carry into the night.
Before sunrise, the first Temazcal. In the morning, the years 0 to 21 are placed onto your Vital Map, through art. By dusk, a Rite of Passage — the body's own threshold into feminine power.
Morning meditation opens the day. Biographical work moves through the years you spent building a life. In ceremony, we honor the force that creates in each woman — a child, a project, a self.
Biographical work turns to the years beyond forty-two. In ceremony, the whole circle welcomes a threshold too often met with silence instead of celebration.
A morning of integration: what are you ready to change. In the afternoon, we walk to the water for a ceremony of naming — calling in who you're ready to become next.
Before dawn, the closing Temazcal. A celebration breakfast. And a special closing circle to send you home.
Bring your mother, and hear the chapters of her life you never had time to ask about. Bring your daughter, and give her uninterrupted days of you. Bring a sister, a goddaughter, a soul friend — any woman with whom six sacred days would become a meaningful memory for both of you.

Born in Brazil, rooted in Baja California Sur. Her medicine lives in Temazcal, therapeutic massage, and the accompaniment of women and children. Co-creator of El Santuario BCS and, with Ayra Sollua, of the Red Tent — a Temple of the Feminine.
Born in Brazil, studying sacred plant medicine since 2015 alongside Indigenous elders of the Peruvian Amazon. As a Medicine Woman and Breathwork Facilitator, she weaves ancestral tradition with the wisdom of nature.
